Kenya’s Supreme Court recently stunned the world by nullifying the re-election of Uhuru Kenyatta for a second term as president. Kenya’s top court found that the August 8th presidential election had failed to meet the standards set in the country’s constitution. Now there is a campaign to discredit the Supreme Court that is being led by the same forces that helped destroy the Kenyan cases at the ICC.

The most recent news out of the saga of the Kenya cases at the ICC is that Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua arap Sang have filed a no case to answer motion., The move came after the prosecution finished presenting its case against them on charges of crimes against humanity in connection with the post-election violence that swept Kenya in 2007-2008.
