Bako Jane Patricia is a Lawyer by training who is enthusiastic about criminal justice with an international and national perspective, human rights and international Law. She has experience working with different organizations on the issues of international criminal justice, transitional justice, human rights, peace and security. From July 2010 to December 2011, She worked with Human Rights Network- Uganda as an Assistant Coordinator of the Uganda Coalition on the International Criminal Court (UCICC). From January 2011 to June 2015, she worked as the Coordinator for UCICC. From January 2010 to date she has served as a part time lecturer with the Faculty of Law at Uganda Christian University. Currently, she works with Avocats Sans Frontieres- Uganda Mission as a Project Officer Transitional Justice, International Criminal Justice Program. Her areas of teaching and research interest include international criminal justice, Transitional justice, constitutional law, human rights and Jurisprudence.
