My Justice has been one of our most popular series throughout 2014. So as we are about to close the book on this year, Justice Hub gives you some of our favourite editions of the series.

Dr. Felix Kaputu, formerly a professor in the DRC, was forced to leave his country after he was persecuted by the authorities. They accused him of going to Japan to buy weapons to support the rebels planning a coup against the government. He’d gone there to study.

Adnan Hamidović a.k.a. Frenkie was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the age of 10, war broke out in his country, and he and his family were forced to go into exile. Frenkie grew up in Nuremberg, Germany, where he gave his first steps in the hip-hop world and developed his critical sense.

Jennifer Welsh is the Special Advisor on the Responsibility to Protect. She was appointed by the UN Secretary General in July 2013. Her current research projects include the evolution of the responsibility to protect (R2P) in international society.

Born in Cologne, Germany, where he studied sport science, Tarek Alsaleh is half Syrian. In 2007, Tarek decided to follow his Syrian roots and travelled to Damascus. He organized classes in capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines acrobatics, dance and music.
